On Saturday, March 7, a Great Viennese Ball will take place again, in the purest Viennese tradition. After last year's success, the CAI organizes some tables for you and your guests to participate in this amazing evening.
The ball will take place at the prestigious and legendary Hotel Negresco, in the Salon Royal in the center of the palace, under the large glass dome, classified as a historical monument and representing the soul of the Negresco Hotel. Once a majestic ballroom, it will be the scene of a refined and exclusive show for an evening.
After a gala dinner prepared by chef Virginie Basselot, known as a chef of the new generation of French gastronomy with a Michelin star, 16 “Debutants” couples, flown in directly from Vienna, will open the ball, which will end with a traditional midnight quadrille. An unforgettable evening not to be missed.
The guests of honour will be the Ambassador of Austria in Paris, Mrs. Barbara Kaudel-Jensen, and the Ambassador of Germany in Paris, M. Stephan Steinlein and his wife.
For those who wish, a bus/van transfer between Monaco and Nice will be organized. If you arrive with your own car, a valet parking service is available at Negresco.
Program:
6:30 p.m. – Bus/van departure from Place des Moulins in Monaco to Hotel Negresco in Nice
7:00 p.m. – Welcome with a glass of champagne and table seating
7:45 p.m. – Gala dinner, by Chef Virginie Basselot
9:15 p.m. – Honorary Committee
9:30 p.m. – Opening of the ball by the debutants
12:00 p.m. – Midnight quadrille
00:30 a.m. – Bus departure to Monaco (a bus/van may leave at 23:30)
02:00 a.m. – End of the ball
Dress Code:
For women: long evening gown
For men: Black Tie or White Tie (frac)

We have also organized very attractive tarifs for one or more nights at the Hotel Negresco. However, if you wish to stay, you will have to book the hotel room directly yourself, by mentioning that you are coming to the Grand Bal Viennois with the Club Allemand International.
