Our member Gerard Weinberg, who is involved in film production, invites you to a very special event on June 7th at the Salle Garnier. On this day, the film producers will shoot a documentary about Maxim Vengerov, who will appear on the stage of the Salle Garnier. You are warmly invited to be the audience of this filming.
Maxim Vengerov is a Russian-born violinist who is considered one of the best living violinists in the world. The Grammy winner also enjoys international recognition as a conductor and has held teaching positions at the world's leading conservatories throughout his career. In 2010 he was appointed first principal conductor of the Menuhin Festival Gstaad Orchestra. He plays a Kreutzer Stradivarius. He has lived in Monaco for many years and is celebrating his 50th birthday this year.
