Gala at the Rainier III Music Academy at the Grimaldi Forum

INVITATION TO THE GALA EVENING
MUSIC ACADEMY RAINIER III

With the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra

Grimaldi Forum, Salle Prince Pierre
 Wednesday June 24, 7:00 p.m

As every year, the Music Academy Rainier III organizes its final gala in honor of its best students and ensembles, accompanied by the renowned Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra.

In the first half, four outstanding solo students will perform alongside the renowned Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo and take the audience on a journey through a century of music. Symphonic melodies, brass and vocal performances follow each other, including an excerpt from the soundtrack of the film Catch Me If You Can, composed by the legendary John Williams. At the end of this first part, the pianist Shani Diluka, an artist in residence at the Académie Rainier III, will bring her piano and chamber music lessons together on stage together with students from the Academy's piano department.

The second half of the evening will offer a real dialogue between the cultures: from the rhythmic pulse of metal taps to tap dancing shoes to the grace of opera singing, accompanied by instrumental music. Ensembles and orchestras will come together on stage to get a finale that is as versatile as it is moving.

The CAI actively supports the Musikakademie and organizes tickets for you for this concert, which is attended by Princess Caroline and the princely family as well as government representatives.
