Join us for an exceptional day dedicated to the Sea!
Our German International Club sponsored the activities of the Prince Albert II Foundation and in particular made a donation last year on the occasion of our Jubilee for the preservation of the Pelagos marine sanctuary. In return, we are invited to join a sea excursion to visit this unique sanctuary, populated among others by whales and dolphins. Two boats await us for an exclusive four-hour excursion, accompanied by a captain and an expert from the Foundation.
The Pelagos Sanctuary is the first transnational site in the Mediterranean dedicated to the protection of marine mammals. The area covers 87,500 km2 in the marine waters of France, Italy and Monaco, and presents remarkable biodiversity. Very rich in plankton, it serves as a habitat for many species of whales and dolphins, some of which are on the red list of endangered species.
On our return around 1:00 p.m., we will have lunch at the Sun Deck of the Yacht Club de Monaco.
